is true, they are abusing, I do not come back anymore, they want to pressure people to buy the other dishes they sell because people do not consume them
No alcoholic beverages
Only cash
Space can get limited here so keep that in mind but the food here is just too good to pass on! The pupusas will fill you up and ask for the horchata to really savor! Be prepared it gets busy and crowded.
Food was really good, but honestly we had to wait for like an hour to get our food. That's just too much time. I would definitely give them a better review but they were taking too long
Really nice place and taste
My favorite restaurant for popusas! Great taste, amazing service. Sometimes you have to wait a bit to be seated, but it’s definitely worth it. And it’s very affordable.
Literally the best pupusas in San Francisco! The only issue is the wait time - not good for a quick bite. However, take away is a good option.
I've only ever been here for breakfast, but it's a fantastic breakfast joint: pupusas, all styles of eggs, plantains… It's popular in the neighbourhood, so it often gets crowded.
Best pupusas in town! Super friendly staff. But beware it is cash only! It gets busy because they make the pupusas fresh per order and well they take long to cook. It is a small place but the layout works. It is an honor system if there is a line when you get there you just figure out who's before and after you, it sort of works out well. The soups are delicious and well proportioned. Their rice and beans are good. They play good music and there is a TV with soccer. They don't serve alcohol, which for this location I like because it makes it family friendly. It is tough to get parking but a plus is that it's near Bart!
Food here is awesome! My partner and I ducking love the papusas! Highly recommend!
Delicious pupusas n clean restaurant.
Fabulous food,wonderful service, clean,restrooms, good prices,tough parking,Sun 10 -3pm,Mon,Tues,Thurs 11am-8pmFri-Sat 11am-10pm
This place has some of the best pupusas ive had in any city. Fresh soft and stuffed with goodies. It feels very authentic and reasonably priced for the massive portions
Pupusas and the tamales were delicious! Would definitely be returning.
I've gone elsewhere for pupusas but considering I was in SF Mission and this place had a 4.4 rating of 5. I enjoyed my food! You won't be disappointed.
We were actually trying to go to another place down the road which was closed and saw a queue outside this place so we stood in the queue to see what the big deal was. The food was amazing. Very simple and wholesome. I tried Pupusas ( cheese and beans) here for the first time and loved it. Also ordered chicken burrito (which I didn't like too much, but then I generally don't like rice in the burrito anyway and there was too much rice in there for me). Also ordered chicken with onion and loved that. Do try the tamarindo. Will definitely be going back when I'm in SF.
This is one of that best place to go get some gone made papusa they are so good and they have Salvadoran and Mexican food the place is kinda small but it's worth the wait the prices are good this is one of my best place to go eat
Fantastic! Never disappoints.
Food was good although it took a while to get food. Pupusas were good, food all around was great. Took a star off because the sides of the pupusas were substantially small and not adequate for the amount we ordered
Always friendly and fast service. Pupusas made to Order, fresh ingredients. My family has been coming here from the East Bay for over 20 years. Any time I am in the neighborhood I stop by.
Favorite restaurant! Food is amazing and great service. Highly recommend going.
the food is acceptable hurts the customer service, we ask for the order for 4 people and they only take one order and then after 25 minutes I ask them and they say only that you asked that people more unpleasant for their work
We are wasting time this restaurant is overwrite in review service is such they give good service at white people and oriental is not good and food is fine but no delicious and ridiculous prices
I am really disappointed, I did order Chilate OMG was mash potatoes with salsa not real nuegados it was Egg nuegados and old banana the chilate i think they use the masa of the pupusas NO Taste I would like to recomend to ask how make a good Chilate 😱
Really good food! Everything was so delicious and made with fresh ingredients. Most places would give you reheated food, this place is not the case.
Let me start off by saying if you're impatient about waiting for a table or food do not come here. However if you enjoy food, family , and socializing than this is the place for you. Food is incredible , service is awesome , and the miracles they perform in that small kitchen is inspiring.
Food was delicious but no kids menu or any option for them. Service was very slow and many people standing at the door checking by themselves if there was any tables available and make you feel very uncomfortable because people still eating and others just watching.
The bean and cheese pupusas are so good!
Pupusas omg delicious!!! And amazing price!!! No parking, plus sometimes long wait, so I do recommend and call ahead if you can pick up, if not the wait might be longer than usual, but totally worth it😊
work on accepting debit cards. recently tried pupusas and was not too impressed
Always a wait but all worth it..fresh authentic
they have the best pupusas for the best price in the City...
The food is good but the pupusas are even better.
love their food but customer service is horrible. I don’t recommend eating here in restaurant maybe just to go.
Soup is goid especially the beef . Comes with yucca, zucchini, carrots. The lorocca pupusa was excellent. Try their horchata
Very authentic. Pork chop was great. There were interesting looking pancakes that Everyone seemed to be eating.
The best place to go to for my cultural food in a of San Francisco!!
After walk up and down mission street for awhile we decided to this place, the service was fast. The place was clean and tidy and food tasted great would recommend if your proper Mexican food.
The food is good but the pupusas are the best really tasty!Extremely pricey for salvadorean food, and they only accept CASH.Good customer service.
I went to Eat a few days ago and noticed that the cashiers were handling Money of course,on their spare time without Washing their hands they were breaking the tamarindo fruit to make the drink ,that is unnaceptable.
Delicious..will bring friends to enjoy their garlic shrimp...
The food is delicious specially popusas
The food here is always great and fresh to order so expect to wait a bit. Cash Only
Good food & service, but they close at 3 on sundays
Average local Central America food joint, I had the stuffed pepper and it was kind of watery. We ordered a side of fried banana and it arrived after all three of us were done with half our plates. The rice was fine and so were the beans, but just fine. They don't carry any beer and the fruit juices were way too sweet.
So, so, so good! Yeah it’s not fancy, but the food and service are outstanding. It’s also reasonably priced.
Pricy, but the was good food even exceed my expectations, the flavor was ok
Some of the best pupusas in the Bay!
These are the best pupusas I’ve eaten. It’s a busy place, and there’s a wait for pupusas, but only because they are all handmade fresh to order.
No credit card accepted. Only cash. Slow service and food quality is not the same.
Great pupusas, but curtido and salsa needs improvement.
Good food, small place, good service, difficult area to find parking. Also, must have cash, pupusas are very expensive, $3.50 each as well as drinks.
